German Studies Library Group AGM with Guest Lecture 2014

The Annual General Meeting of the German Studies Library Group takes place Wednesday, 22nd October 2014, kindly hosted by Senate House Library in London.

The afternoon’s programme begins at 2 p.m., and in addition to the AGM there will also be a tour of Senate House Library.  We are delighted that Professor Charmian Brinson, Director of Language Studies at Imperial College London and Professor Richard Dove, Emeritus Professor of German at the University of Greenwich, will be delivering a joint guest lecture to us on MI5 and the surveillance of anti-Nazi refugees, 1933-1950, which is the topic of their book published this year.  Refreshments will also be served.

Members of the German Studies Library Group and of the other library language groups under the WESLINE umbrella are very warmly invited to attend.

If you intend to come, please email Christopher Skelton-Foord (christopher.skelton-foord@durham.ac.uk), GSLG Secretary, by 16th October, so we know how many attendees to expect.
